Cross ice Leagues coming to THE 585 in 2025!
Spring & Summer Leagues
*We will offer TWO skill divisions in each age group: A & B
*Subject to sufficient registrations
- Cross Ice - Peewee A & Peewee B (2013-14) & Squirt (Tentatively Tuesdays 4/29/2024 - 6/24/2024): Tuesdays 4/29/2024 - 6/24/2024
- Cross Ice - Bantam A & B Cross Ice Mite (Tentatively Wednesdays) (2011-12): Wednesdays 5/1/2024 - 6/26/2024
- FULL ICE DRAFT - Midget (2008-10): Thursdays 5/1/2024 - 6/26/2024
Players will be drafted to teams after an evaluation skate. Date/Time/Location TBD
- A is for AAA or Higher to Upper-Mid Level AA players
- B is for Lower skilled Travel and House players
I understand everyone wants their child in the A divisions, but it is in the best interest of the children to be registered and placed in appropriate skill divisions. Be realistic about your player's skill set.
(Example: If your player is a Minor Birth Year in your division's age group and they are not a High-End player on their regular season team, the B division is likely the best spot for them.)
Playing in the B division is not a bad thing!
Playing in the appropriate divisions also include playing with their own age group, not up a division. The kids will have a much better experience and have more fun playing where they can be competitive and find some success!

WNYSSH is expanding into the 585!
WNYSSH Invades Rochester in 2025!
I've had a people from Rochester reach out and ask if I have ever thought about expanding our weeknight hockey leagues into the Rochester area since there are limited options to play in the offseason... The answer is YES!
For those who are not familiar with WNYSSH, we are a weeknight only spring & summer hockey league with cross-ice divisions starting with Mini-Mites and going all the way up to 16U, we also offer A & B divisions to have an option for all skill levels. Over the past two years, we have also added full-ice draft leagues at our two oldest age groups, Bantam and 16U.
Cross-ice, three on three leagues is our bread and butter as that is what the company was built on. We have fun jerseys, play music during games and encourage playing with friends, having FUN, creativity on the ice and a less structured environment versus what they get during the regular season... sometimes kids need to just play like us parents did on the ponds and streets as kids!
We'll start small and accept 40 players in the ROCSSH cross-ice leagues in each age group/division to make 4 team divisions. That's how it started out in Buffalo, and it worked, so we'll apply the same format in Rochester!
